What types of photography do you offer?

I specialize in lifestyle photography—capturing real moments, natural light, and genuine connection. Whether it's couples, families, portraits, or creative brand sessions, I'm all about telling your story in a way that feels authentic and fun.

Do you travel for shoots? If so, is there a travel fee?

Yes! I’m based in Denver, CO, but I love to travel. Local sessions around the Denver area are included in my standard pricing. For anything beyond that, a small travel fee may apply—just reach out and I’ll provide a custom quote.

How far in advance should I book a session?

I recommend booking at least 2–4 weeks in advance to secure your preferred date—especially during busy seasons like spring and fall. That said, if you have something last-minute, feel free to reach out! I’ll do my best to fit you in.

What’s your rescheduling or cancellation policy?

Life happens—I totally get it! If you need to reschedule, just give me at least 48 hours’ notice and we’ll find a new date that works. If something comes up last-minute, I’ll do my best to be flexible.

If we need to reschedule due to bad weather (especially for outdoor shoots), I’ll keep a close eye on the forecast and reach out in advance. We’ll work together to choose the next best available date—no extra fees, just better skies!

Booking & Preparation

How do I book a session?

Booking is easy! Just fill out the contact form with a little info about what you’re looking for, and I’ll be in touch to confirm details, share availability, and get things rolling.

How should I prepare for the shoot?

Once we book, I’ll send over a short prep guide with tips tailored to your session. But in general—get a good night’s sleep, drink water, wear something that makes you feel great, and come ready to have fun!

What should I wear? Do you offer styling advice?

Absolutely! I’m happy to help with outfit ideas. I can offer tips on colors, textures, and coordination based on your shoot location and vibe. Think comfortable, confident, and you—and feel free to send outfit options ahead of time if you want feedback!

Can I bring props or pets to the session?

Yes please! Whether it’s a meaningful item or your furry best friend, I love adding personal touches to a session. Just let me know in advance so I can plan accordingly (and pack treats if needed!).

Do you scout or recommend locations?

Definitely. I have a list of favorite photo-worthy spots around Denver and beyond, or I’m happy to explore new ones if you have a place in mind. We’ll work together to pick a spot that fits your style and story perfectly.  

During the Shoot

I’m awkward in front of the camera—can you help with posing?

Absolutely! You're not alone—most people feel that way at first. I’ll guide you through natural, easy poses and bring along a visual reference to help you feel relaxed and confident every step of the way.

Can I bring someone along to the shoot for support?

Of course! A friendly face is always welcome. (Bonus points if they bring snacks or good vibes—beers optional but appreciated!)

After the Shoot

How many photos will I receive?

That depends on the type of session and what we agreed on beforehand. I’ll always aim to deliver a generous selection of the best moments!

How long does it take to get my edited photos?

You’ll receive your fully edited images within 3–5 business days after the session.

Will I get both high-resolution and web-ready files?

Yes! You’ll be able to download both high-resolution files (great for printing) and web-sized versions (perfect for sharing online).

Do you offer prints or albums?

I don’t currently offer prints or albums myself, but I’m happy to recommend some trusted print labs you can use to turn your photos into something tangible.

Delivery & Usage

How are the photos delivered?

All images will be delivered through a private online gallery via Pic-Time, where you can easily download, share, or even order prints.

Can I post the photos on social media?

Yes, absolutely—I love seeing them shared! Please tag me @brittneycarlsonphotos so I can celebrate the moments with you.

Do I have full rights to the images?

Yes! These photos are yours to keep and use however you'd like. I don’t require licensing for personal use.

Will you use my photos in your portfolio or marketing?

Only with your permission. I may ask to feature a few favorites on my website or social media, but I’ll always check with you first.

Do you offer any services besides photography?

Yes! I also offer AI-enhanced art prints—customized from your photos to create something truly one-of-a-kind. Examples coming soon!
